Here at Coco’s we recently did a photo-shoot in preparation for the release of our AW15 collection. Here is a little insight into the day and a sneak peak behind the scenes!
Prior to the shoot we had arranged a casting session along with the lovely photographers Al & K Photography, this was to select an appropriate model. Unfortunately the girl that we had picked was unable to attend, this meant that we had to frantically call the model agencies to try and find a replacement! We were really struggling to find someone and thought we were going to have to postpone the shoot-which would have been a shame, but then we struck gold!
We attended a fashion event where I spotted saw Patrish. We immediately asked her if she would like the job modelling for Coco’s Liberty, and she said yes so without any hesitation, we booked her.
The next day we all arrived bright and early at the studio- and got straight to work. The Jewellery Designer and Founder of Coco’s Liberty, Elina, had bought us lots of coffee to keep us energised- carrying 5 cups proved a little more challenging than she anticipated and ended up spilling it everywhere! Anyway after that little mishap, we got to work discussing the make up and hairstyle look that we wanted to achieve. We wanted make up that accentuated jewellery and had a bit of a 70s/80s vibe! While we were busy discussing aesthetics, the photographers where already setting up the equipment and testing the lightening ready for the shoot.
Patrish (from Profile Models) was flawless. She hardly needed any make up. Her skin had a beautiful, natural glow. Elina gave Patrish a quick briefing explain that we wanted a strong and fierce look, as though she could own the world.
The shoot itself didn’t take that long, everyone was so professional and worked great as a team. We loved it when towards the end of the shoot Patrish had a few goofy shots- they add to the brands relaxed, light-hearted and fun image.
We had a great day and loved working with everyone- Can't wait to show you all the rest of the fab pictures that we took!
Lots of love
